'Indu Abiman - 2014' cultural awards ceremony, a colourful and grand event which was held for the first time in the history of St.Anthony's College ended at the College Main Hall on 31st October 2014.

Indu abiman 2014 cultural awards ceremony is to be held on the 31st of October 2014 at 4.30pm at the College Main Hall with veteran dancer Mr.Channa Wijewardana as the chief guest.

As this event is going to be the first in the history of our college, your participation is greatly appreciated.

Month of Reading - Book Exhibition and Sale

Parallel to the Month of Reading Programme a Book Exhibition and Sale was held in the College premises on 20th and 21st of October by Mal Piyali and Vijitha Yapa Bookshop Kandy.

Felicitation Ceremony - Mr. C.N. Silva & Mrs. D. Perera

In appreciation of the yeoman service to the college by the master of Discipline Mr. C.N. Silva and teacher of Science Mrs. D. Perera, a felicitation ceremony was held in the College Main Hall this morning. Mr. Senaka Rajapaksha OBA Parent Body, Past and Present Prefects spoke in appreciation of Mr. C.N. Silva.

The Annual Prize Giving - 2013

The annual Prize Giving - 2013 was held on a grand scale at the College Main Hall on 16^th October 2014.

Islamic Day celebrations

The Annual Meelad-Un-Nabi Islamic Day celebrations organized by the Islamic Majlis was held on 11th September in the College Main Hall.

Month of Reading - How to use the internet to read books

The students were enlightened on "How to use the internet to read books". Another Programme in view of the month of reading.

World Teachers' Day

To felicitate the teachers' past and present a dinner was organized by the Prefects Guild - 2014, and were followed by an entertainment programme by the students the following day.

Installation Ceremony of the Interact Club

The 25th anniversary 'Installation Ceremony' of the Interact Club was held at the Mahawali Reach hotel. Chief Guest- Mr. Mahanama Dodanpegama, District Internal Chief co-ordinator.

Nawarathri Vizha

'Nawarathri Vizha' a religious programme organized by the Hindu Society was held in the Upper Auditorium of the college.

World Children's Day

A programme organized by the Staff Guild commemorating the Worlds Children’s Day was held with an entertainment programme which followed with a gift to each student.

The Primary School too organized several activities to celebrate the children’s day.

Month of Reading

Commencing the month of reading, a lecture on “The Value of Reading” was delivered by Mr. Jayasundara Banda of St. Anthony’s Girls College on the 1^st of October 2014.
